New To RBC?

Jesus is central to everything we do. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:16-17 says (when speaking of Jesus), “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” We commit that our church is dedicated to loving this all-powerful, all-loving God with everything we have, and we invite you to join us in this desire.

What To Expect

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. That's why when you visit Rockett Baptist, you will be greeted with a warm handshake and a friendly smile. From the time you drive onto our parking lot, you will find that our members want nothing more than for your experience to be a joyful one.

We have convenient, reserved parking spaces located near the front entrance for our first-time guests. And when you walk through the doors of our church, our greeters, ministers and members will make sure you get to the Worship Center or the Children's Area or to a Sunday School Class–wherever it is that you are going.

There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and prayer. Our services generally last about 65 minutes from beginning to end. We open our service with music from our band that is meant to get us into a frame of mind for what we call worship - a period of time to express in music that God is the greatest thing in the universe, and that his grace has changed our lives. The music is followed by a message that speaks from the Scriptures to our daily lives in a way that we all can understand and relate. We usually end each service with one last song and an opportunity for each of us to reflect on the message.
